Condolence: Although I didn't spend a lot of time with Uncle Allan my memories of him centre around my idea that he was abnormal in a most wonderful way. He possessed an amazing zest for living, genuine joy, passion and conviction. He shared his heart openly. Because of this, I can easily close my eyes and sense who he was and what he was all about. I hope I leave this kind of impression on people when I pass on. I love each of you and am certainly holding each of you close to my heart right now.

Condolence: Robin and family,
We were saddened to learn yesterday of Al's illness and passing. We will remember Al's storytelling, his musical bent, his interest in hunting, and more. May the Lord surround you with his presence, love, and assurance of grace through Christ.

Condolence: Al was a major influence in my life for his passion for Jesus. His heart was not to cling to this world, but to be united with Christ. He was an inspiration to my music, and I've since echoed his words to other music groups to always include Jesus in at least one of their songs. Whenever we would meet, his declaration of the gospel was so assured that I felt like I was meeting the apostle Paul himself in person - especially when he would quote Philippians 3:8. I believe Al's mission was the same as the Father above, who's heart is for those of us who are still on earth to know Christ and make Him known. I will never forget Al, and I truly aspire to go to heaven and see him there someday. Jay
